And Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson maintained his ripped physique as he hit the gym in Los Angeles on Wednesday. 

The actor, 49, was clearly prepared to give his workout everything he had as he arrived carrying an astounding four water bottles.

While some may dread hit workouts, that certainly wasn't the case for Dwayne.

The actor beamed with joy as he arrived to the gym with his sculpted figure on full display.

Dwayne accentuated his buff body wearing a tank top, black leggings, tights, and white sneakers.

He kept his cool with a camouflage print hat and tossed a jacket over his shoulders.

Even with his action-packed showbiz career, The Rock has still found time to work out.

The actor has been busy promoting his new film Jungle Cruise, which sees him play riverboat captain Frank 'Skipper' Wolff opposite Emily Blunt.

During an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the actor admitted he had grown quite close to Emily while filming the Disney movie.

'She's super talented. She's a multi-threat and we became great friends,' Dwayne said during his virtual interview.

'I love her. I love her family…John (Krasinski), their kids. We're all one big ohana as we like to say in the islands,' he added.

The film sees its two stars go in search of a legendary tree with healing powers down the Amazon River, where they are met with animals, creepy creatures, and even torpedoes.
