JURGEN KLOPP had a scare after losing his wedding ring on the Anfield pitch after Liverpool's clash with Newcastle.
Despite dropping his prized band there were no points dropped for his Liverpool side who returned to the summit of the Premier League with a 4-2 victory over the Magpies.
Klopp was heading over to the Kop at Anfield to celebrate the superb victory with the fans when he dropped his ring on the ground.
He had to put a pause on his usual fist pumps to the crowd in order to search for it.
And the German boss had no luck finding it until a cameraman seemed to find it and point Klopp in the right direction.
The former Borussia Dortmund gaffer looked relieved as he picked up the ring before kissing it in front of the camera and reeling off with a smile on his face.
It isn't the first time Klopp has lost his wedding ring either after he admitted he once had to have it recovered by scuba divers on Sky Sports.
He said: "I lost it once and needed a professional diver to find it because I was in the water.
"From time to time I lose a few pounds and it can fall off!"
While he thanked the cameraman who located his special ring in a post-match interview with Bein Sports.
He said: "I am not into jewellery, but this is the one ring I can't live without.
"The cameraman who found it is my hero. He is my new hero for 2024.
"From now on if he wants to have my full face [in the camera] then he can have it."
The incident was a minor scare that worked out well in the end - a bit like the match itself for Liverpool.
The Premier League's table toppers threw everything at Eddie Howe's Newcastle side, but couldn't find the back of the net.
Mohamed Salah missed a penalty in the first half and Liverpool went in at the break drawing 0-0 despite a dominant display.
But the floodgates opened in the second half when Salah scored just four minutes after the restart before Alexander Isak equalised for Newcastle just five minutes later.
Curtis Jones and Cody Gakpo batted away the Swede's equaliser before Sven Botman made things nervy by making it 3-2 with nine minutes to play.
However Salah wouldn't let his side sink. He redeemed himself by scoring a penalty at the second time of asking in the 86th minute to gift his side all three points before he jets off for international duty with Egypt.
