Perfectly groomed in dazzling gowns, some of the world's most stylish and beautiful women lined up on the red carpet ahead of a major fashion event in Milan.
Scarlett Johansson was pure Hollywood glamour, leading an elegant pack that included supermodels Eva Herzigova and Claudia Schiffer in cutting edge creations and Eva Mendes in red.
And then there was Peaches.
Exhibit A: Scarlett Johansson was a stunning example of A-list glamour at the Extreme Beauty In Vogue party during Milan Fashion Week
Exhibit B: Peaches Geldof, with Blake Wood, looked out of her league at the Milan Fashion Week event
The 19-year-old Miss Geldof's simple cream sheath over black tights and casual hairdo would have been fine for a casual night out with friends.
But in the world of high fashion, Peaches was clearly outclassed.
The socialite had attended the Palazzina della Ragione in Milan with American photographer and artist Blake Wood, a friend who she was recently spotted partying with in London.

Ciao, bella! Eva Mendes and Kate Hudson pulled out all the stops
Wood is also a friend of Amy Winehouse, and known as 'good Blake' because of his comparatively clean lifestyle relative to the troubled singer's husband Blake Fielder-Civil, who was recently released from jail.
While Wood's own outfit failed to make an impression, Peaches was in good company if she wanted a lesson in style for the next fashion event.
Experienced fashionistas Eva Herzigova and Claudia Schiffer were a how-to guide to red carpet glamour.
Young guns: Slumdog Millionaire star Freida Pinto soaked up the atmosphere while model Alice Dellal traded her usually outrageous outfits for a demure LBD
Always in vogue: Editor Anna Wintour and former model Lauren Hutton both settled on understated elegance
Muse: Scarlett with designer Domenico Dolce
They demonstrated their unique styles while maintaining high-level grooming and perfect accessorising.
The A-listers were helping launch Extreme Beauty in Vogue, an exhibition of almost 100 photographs from the past 75 years of American Vogue magazine.
Chief editor Anna Wintour co-hosted the event, which also marked the release of Dolce & Gabbana's first make-up collection.
Scarlett, who is the current face of the make-up range, posed for photographs alongside its creators Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana.
The Lost In Translation star looked every bit the 1950s siren in a leopard print frock with a nipped-in waist.
Her perfect pout - with trendy red lipstick - was the ideal advertisement for the new collection.
