Selena Gomez's Hair Has Changed So Much in the Past 12 Years

Since 2007 she's had so many hair transformations.

Selena Gomez is basically never not busy. When she's not throwing bachelorette parties and giving emotional wedding speeches, she's out promoting her latest projects, like her Coach collaboration. She also hit up the Cannes Film Festival and made a surprise performance appearance at Coachella—and the year's only half over.

Basically we've been blessed with over a decade of Sel—and her ever-evolving hairstyles. This is a woman who doesn't know the phrase awkward teen years—she's never had a single bad-hair day as far as we can tell. In honor of her twenty-seventh birthday, we're taking a look back at the past 12 years of nothing but gorgeousness. Side-swoop bangs of the aughts included.

Straightened, layered, with side bangs—Selena had the cut so many of us failed at achieving back in the mid-aughts.

When you think of Selena in Wizards of Waverley Place, this is the look. Red highlights and all.

A chic look at any age, but it kind of hurts how much cooler she was than us at 15.

Selena was ahead of her time with this one. It looks so 2017, just seven years too early.

And she's blond! (Well, for her.) Wizards of Waverley Place was winding down and Selena was changing things up.

Alas, the honey blond didn't last long. A few months later, it was on to this vibrant chocolate hue.

We love when Selena keeps it loose and natural, as she did for a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
